Monday marked the return to some sense of normality and another positive step towards the economy fully reopening. As well as the luxury of now being able to enjoy a meal or a drink inside (although it looked like a typically quiet Monday in our little piece of Holborn), there is a lot to be positive about in our industry; our investors continue to be active and are looking at growth opportunities, buy & build, turnarounds and businesses seeking funds due to cashflow issues.
For business owners who need access to capital beyond their normal lending facilities, we are here to help. What we do works and we are able to provide businesses with a route to unlock necessary capital. Talk to us or drop me a quick email if you have a client where you think equity funding may be the solution.
We often check-in on previous clients to see how our investor’s capital has been performing. Here is an example…
£700,000 for Fire Door & Security Manufacturer
We were approached by this innovative, independently owned British company who were under serious financial pressure from key stakeholders and struggling to meet payments from HMRC.
We saw the enormous opportunity in the business and communicated this to our investor network. We introduced investors in rapid time and from start to finish, an investment of £700,000 was completed in just 12 weeks.
The business is now a leading British manufacturer, winning prestigious industry awards and going from strength to strength; turnover grew 47% in 2019-2020.
B&Y impressed us from the start. They arranged meetings with nine potential investors within three weeks. From these and subsequent meetings, two serious offers quickly followed. We are delighted with the outcome.
