Children’s Toiletries Gains £650,000 in Financing

This award-winning British brand has developed a range of eczema-friendly clinically tested toiletries and is now set to affect a major launch.

Our client, an award-winning British brand, has developed a range of eczema-friendly clinically tested toiletries.  In order to affect a major launch into some of the most upmarket stores in the UK they approached us to secure the necessary development capital.

The company had alternate funding options, but they weren’t optimum for their situation.  We presented their business case to a suitable shortlist of investors and, although there were a number of interested parties, we immediately identified our ‘most likely investor’ and leapfrogged him into a garden meeting with our client.  

By the end of the initial meeting they were talking a deal and within a matter of weeks our investor had funded the enterprise to the tune of £650,000, taken a suitable equity piece and joined forces with the company in a managerial, marketing and strategizing capacity.  This transaction was characterized by ‘good chemistry’ between all parties involved. We are happy to report the company now has over 15 different products stocked in 2000 stores nationwide, as well as a cartoon on the Cartoonito pre-school channel.
